Custom Sizing & Machining

Sizing Capabilities:

  • Standard Height: Heights up to 10’ – 0”
  • Standard Width: Widths up to 5’ – 0”
  • Standard Thickness: Thickness: 1 – 3/4” & 2 – 1/4”
Core Options:

  • Solid core, particleboard core
  • Fire-rated cores (20/45/60/90 min)
  • Lead-lined

Machining & Preparation

  • Pre-machining for all major hardware brands, including, but not limited to, Schlage, Sargent, Falcon, Corbin, Accentra (formerly Yale), Von Duprin, and LCN.
  • Common hardware machining includes mortise lock, cylindrical lock, hinge, pivot, flushbolt, raceway, concealed closer/stop, automatic door bottom, rim exit, electric power transfer, and more.
  • Cutouts: Narrow lite, half glass, full glass, louver, and custom cutouts. Options include flush and lip wood molding, and metal vision panel lite kits.

Vision Lite Glass Installation

  • Standard doors with visions are supplied without glass, ready for on-site glass installation.
  • Alternatively, glass can be factory-installed for convenience.

Door System Compatibility

  • Common: Swing/conventional, sliding systems, demountable systems, pocket doors, bypassing, bi-parting, and more.
  • Specialty: Fire-rated assemblies and lead-line doors for radiation shielding or specialty applications.
  • Best used for commercial wood door projects such as offices, schools, hospitals, and additional commercial applications.

Paint-grade doors feature high-density fiberboard (HDF) faces, ready for priming and painting. For projects that require a faster installation, doors are available factory-primed or fully factory-painted.

Standard Paint Grade Door 

  • Material: Standard paint-grade doors come ready with HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) faces or rotary cut natural birch veneer. 
  • Finish: Doors are supplied unfinished – on-site crews will need to prime and field-paint. 
  • Benefits: Paint-grade doors are the most cost-effective option for commercial wood doors and offer a flexible finish that can be customized to match other project surfaces, such as millwork or walls.

Factory Prime & Paint 

  • Material: HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) faces. 
  • Factory Primed: Doors are factory-primed and ready for field paint. 
  • Factory Painted: Doors arrive fully primed & painted in the color selected by you or the architect. 
  • Options: Customers have the option to receive doors either factory-primed for on-site finishing or factory-primed and fully painted. 
  • Benefits: Reduces on-site prep time and comes ready for immediate installation
